The only back up I have for my fear are the things that initiated it - an alarming similarity I see between the tea-party and the extremists in Europe, and their rise to power only 2 years after your president removed this terminology from white house rhetoric’s. I’m well aware that I lack knowledge about your society and therefore I tried to make it clear that I’m asking a question and not stating anything about you, which some people apparantly missed.
My life routine + time region makes it really difficult for me to catch active threads and I don’t want to just burst in off topic with this. About pages, I feel they are a place for people to link to extra information and not to initiate discussions or asking questions. So I’ll just fold back into my passive reading bubble for now, and maybe look for information in other places as well, hoping they will be as rational and nice as this place.
