Well, according to the writer at that link, Silver gives Gravis polls a full “4 bar” weighting. As in, he treats it like one of the most reliable polls there is. But I don’t have confirmation for that yet.

If you look at 538 you’ll see that Nate weighs Gravis differently in different States. His protocol is to give new pollsters a slightly greater than average rating, and it appears that the baseline gets tweaked in different states according to 538’s assessment of each poll’s published methodology.

Is Gravis lying about their methodology though? There’s really no way to tell until the election when everyone get’s judged against actual results.
