OT, but I swear to god advertising has ruined the internet.

1) No, I don’t want to take a survey before reading your content
2) No, I don’t want to SIGN UP before reading your content
3) If your page takes me FIVE minutes to load because of all the flashing, blinking banner ads, I’m not coming back to your site.
4) Even more so if the banner ad BLOCKS the content I’m trying to read!
5) I FUCKING HATE MULTI PAGE SLIDESHOWS!
6) Video auto-play is the devil
7) [News sites only] To hell with your paywall, ESPECIALLY when paid or not, your site is STILL loaded up with ads.

Even adblock doesn’t stop all of this from happening. It’s a shame to see what were formerly really good sites go down the crapper because of this nonsense.
