A promise truly worth its weight in gold. I honestly doubt he’ll pardon his associates; not because of any respect for the law but because in Republican World, loyalty flows one way and one way only.

That must be why Arpaio is in prison right now…

He will pardon people to protect himself, it has little to do with loyalty.
