And it is not that demographic who pressured Bayer et. al. to drop their ads from Ingraham’s show.

Those advertisers who are dropping their ads are doing nothing more than theatre.

Fox will just move advertisers from other time slots to Ingraham’s.

Then the holes left for adverts on those other shows will get filled by those very same companies who left Ingraham’s show.

Beware of theatre as a substitute for real change.

The Fox co-president’s letter is evidence that the message that the boycotters are wanting really did not in the end get through.

Because if it did, said co-president wouldn’t have turned around and used it as a marketing tool.
