Oh, wait! Up 1050 yesterday down 600 this morning, ended up plus 260. Yup, stable as a paranoid schizophrenic off his meds.

The chaos President has infected every area of American life. Yeah, us! Winning!

A reminder: it’s percentage change that matters not the dollar change. Back in 1987, the Dow Jones was about one tenth of today’s level— and we saw similar volatility. A movement of 600 today is comparable to 60 back then. But the news media focuses on the dollar change to exaggerate the effect — the old, if it bleeds, it leads.
