I’ve always seen him as everything the rest of the country thinks they hate about New Yorkers. He’s loud, obnoxious, thinks his shit doesn’t shink, etc. That’s why it was so funny to see the GOP base with all their contempt for NYC embrace him. But in a lot of ways it was a match made in paradise because the GOP base is loud, obnoxious, and thinks their shit doesn’t stink.

Trump: “I wanna be President. I need your help.”

GOP Base: “Go to hell. You represent everything we detest, you NYC elitist.”

Trump: “I’ll be extra racist and enable white supremacy.”

GOP Base: “Gooooooo on..”
