When I started hitting adolescence I began to wonder about myself because I found in my fantasy life I was identifying with the heroes more than the heroines. I had some really weird fantasy versions in my mind where the hero would fail to save the girl, I’d step in and save her and they’d both fall madly in love with me. Weird, huh?

Sounds like a healthy way to cope to me.
