One of my cousins posted a stupid Reaganism- “Republicans think every day is 4th of July and Democrats think every day is April 15.” I know Reagan was trying to be funny but that’s exactly the kind of crap that Republicans do that piss me off. This suggestion that they’re more patriotic than Democrats is absolutely bullshit and Reagan fucking knew it. Reagan knew many Democrats that actually risked their lives more than he did in WWII and Reagan still was happy to contribute to the bs myth that Democrats wake up everyday just giddy about any possible tax increase. No, Ronnie, we don’t “like” taxes but unlike your party’s ecoomically illiteraet ass, we do see why they work. And btw, you wouldn’t have gotten your mass military build up without tax increases. Sorry guys, I know Reagan wasn’t as bad as Trump but he definitely contributed to the falsehoods that Republicans still believe about liberals to this day and I really resent him for that.
