The GOP’s plan seems to be to actually make the suggestion that they’d just tinker around the edges of Obamacare and they declare it theirs a reality. In six months, they’ll declare that “repeal” isn’t a realistic option, so they’ll just “replace” the parts that don’t work with ones that are “patient-centered.” They’re cynical enough that they’ll insist that they “fixed” the law over objections from Democrats that doing so would harm Obama’s “legacy.” You’ll know this is the plan when they stop calling it “Obamacare” and start calling it the Affordable Care Act again.
