There is no way I could have prepared for this much African-American religious tradition to be approved and displayed. I am stunned.

Slavery invoked. King invoked. A black choir singing Stand By Me.

I am not religious at all. But much of my black family is and I grew up in this.

I am stunned.

They invited him over from the ‘States, also because he represents a branch of the Anglican church that has no problem with LGBT ministers, so I am not too shocked.
