That is a rather different matter. He is not going to be put away for life, just not seated for life.

But according to his defenders, it’s similar enough that his reputation and life would be ‘ruined’ over what they saw as a crazy evil woman inventing shit against him.

You know, the same shit they say about any woman who speaks up about being sexually assaulted. And it’s almost like 1) witness testimony IS “evidence”, and 2) like investigations are exactly what you do to find evidence.
