That would be good, but the Rs may still hold enough power, and certainly the will to prevent that.

I remember back in early 2016 I thought the US was inherently a force for good in the world and most of its citizens were good people at heart. Come that election I had to rethink that. Maybe a third of the people here really are evil. After this election it’s clear that half are.
