I was in three stores yesterday, and they were wiped out of chicken and various other items. I’m guessing the chicken may be omicron related. Wouldn’t be surprised if everyone in the processing plants is currently testing positive.

Yesterday I went to an evil big-box store. (Less evil than our Publix.) There were no shortages except the usual erratic big-box buying pattern. Pork loin was $2.20, down from a month ago. Freakn’ cream cheese actually was missing, though. Don’t know what that’s about.
