Yep. This is why it’s critical to get out the vote for those down ticket races and the mid terms. A LOT of local level stuff gets decided in those “off years” , from what school textbooks are used to how land is developed, infrastructure is updated (or not) and who is going to decide what laws get before legislatures. Lets also not forget ALEC and their constant chipping away at not only the federal level, but in state and local governments too. ALEC’s work is known at the federal level, but not many people realize they also craft lots of “business friendly” laws on everything from environmental safety to gun laws.

I really wish we had as much focus directed at voter education as we do on stupid shit like these ridiculous fake medical records. Sigh.
