Not any more. The GOP controls both houses and will control the Federal courts, and have convinced their voters this is the right thing to do.

Even though the GOP will end up controlling Congress, the Executive, and will get to impose their will on the courts, it will take time before a case to overturn Obergefell or Roe gets heard. And the Court wont be quick to overturn a decision from this past decade (stare decisis).

But those rights will be under assault, and the backlog of cases resulting from refusing to fill Scalia’s seat will mean that civil rights and the rights of the individual will be under assault.
