I said in the last thread we’re going to need something like the Nuremberg Trials when all is said and done - combine it with something like South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Committee.

Both of those things came about after massive societal change - losing a war, the end of apartheid. Neither of those things will happen in 8 years after Trump leaves barring something huge and unforeseen. What will happen is that the cult media will return to its comfort zone in attacking a Democratic president, and CNN and MSNBC and local news will amplify those attacks to show that they are ‘nonpartisan’. And the next US autocrat won’t be as childish as Trump.
