I propose we here at Little Green Footballs drop using the word “lost” when it comes to conservative supporters criticizing Donald J. Lump.

The reason for this proposal is they are never actually lost. What in fact they are doing is covering for him for the time needed that America forgets about the outrage they criticized.

Once enough time is passed, they are back on the support wagon like nothing ever happened.

I think a famous religious spiritual line puts it best for the True Believer Trumper…

“I once was lost but now am found, Was blind, but now I see.”
