Bernie will probably fade as the standard bearer within the next year or so, I’m pretty sure. That doesn’t mean that the scorched earth he left behind, and the horseshoe effect of both sides treating Dems as the end-all, be-all of the problem and only holding them to standards ever just might. “Both Sides Same Thing” is possibly even more in effect than ever, and it’s letting the assholes skate by on fucking everything at this point.
