It’s why I despise that “The arc of time bends towards justice” platitude.

It’s utter hogwash. It bends towards power.

They are great inspirational and aspirational words, but they led to us growing more than a bit complacent in thinking that these gains in rights and freedoms were solidified and irreversible.

We are seeing that they are not.
