Yes, Downbelow Station is in the seriously good stuff list.

Hmm. Done any Orson Scott Card? He tends to be either a love him or hate him author but “Speaker for the Dead” needs to be read by everyone. The Prequel, “Ender’s Game” will be a movie soon, but I think Speaker is the better, harder, story.

Went about as far as I’m ever going to in the Ender’s Game saga, same with Hyperion and Honor Harrington. I don’t get into the series stuff much—after a while it seems the authors just run out of stuff and are on contract to a publisher and have to write something …anything.

Speaker for the Dead was excellent. The audio of the series was excellent as well. Multiple cast with Stefan Rudnicki—if you don’t recognize the name, you would definitely recognize the voice. Anything he narrates will be good.

The Joan Vinge is 20 hours. I may have to do that one.
