It’s a good idea. My father (turning 91 in a few months) has been pretty good about continuing to learn after retirement. He’s enjoyed the Apple program that charges $99 for a year of weekly hour-long sessions with a young person to teach him how to use the computer.

In Italy oldsters can return to university for free, essentially. They are thought to be a resource.
