With CHIP secure for the foreseeable future, DACA focus can also turn on Dreamers who are on active duty or in the reserves. Throwing them out of the country directly impacts military readiness, something the GOP claims to care about.

Were I a liberal advertising agency, I’d get straight to work making a series of spots, each featuring an either active duty or retired military - the more heavily decorated and the longer the combat resume, the better.

I’d have them list their qualifications, their decorations, battle history. And I would end every spot with the same tag line:

“I’m a Dreamer and I fought for you. Will you fight for me?”
