My favorite is coming home after leaving for work, expecting my computer to simply go into sleep mode after 10 minutes and stay there til I return, only to get home and find out that Microsoft forced through yet another update and so now I have to wait while my programs reboot and thank Zod quietly that “session restore” features are now ubiquitous.

The “how to geek” newsletter a few days ago said that the April M$ push was going to change the way that updates would be performed. I just don’t remember exactly how.
