Hurricane Dorian is now 90 miles east of Daytona Beach. Winds are down to 105 mph.

By Sunday it is expected to be a post-tropical hurricane over Nova Scotia, and by Monday it will be a post-tropical storm after crossing Newfoundland and emerging into the Atlantic Ocean on the north side of the island.

In the meantime, Hurricane Warnings have been extended to Duck, North Carolina, and watches to the NC-VA border. A Tropical Storm Watch is in place for Hampton Roads and the lower Chesapeake Bay. The storm is expected to come very near or over coastal South and North Carolina Thursday and Friday, so keep your heads down if you live there. If the storm comes ashore there, the forward motion will be so fast on the southeast side it could add a whole category to the winds.
