The mayor seems to mention it for a second, but it’s not totally clear if there was an element of protest or support involved still, or if was completely union fuckery. So we really don’t know yet. Unless those officers specifically made a claim elsewhere that I’m not finding.

From WKWB in Buffalo: Buffalo police ERT members say resignation was not in solidarity with suspended officers. Apparently it’s subtle. Not all resigned “out of support”, some resigned because the city won’t represent those two officers and they have to find their own attorneys
