And sorry, Muslims and Christians will continue to have a stake in Jerusalem. You can say you have preserved them, but there have been firebombing attacks on Mosques and Churches in both Israel proper, and the occupied territories.

Giving Al-Aqsa and the DOme of the Rock is basically asking for another Babri Mosque incident. 50% of the Jewish population wants the Temple rebuilt. If even 10% of them are willing to act on it, those two are screwed.

Also, remember the Moroccan Quarter? Of course you don’t.

I still think the viewpoint I heard from that ABC Documentary years ago shows a valid picture of Israel. Not to mention that Arabs in Israel have gotten crapped on. And then people wonder why they are pissed at Israel.

I don’t like the automatic assumption that Israelis are good, and the Palestinians bad because I have Palestinian friends, and therefore a personal investment in their side. Not to mention the Pro-Israel group on campus one time decided to call the Campus Cops on MSA when my friend was President of MSA. I have not forgotten that.
