Hatred is a sickness, an addiction just as destructive as meth or any prescription drug. It would be interesting to know whether being that hateful for that long actually causes changes in the brain. It wouldn’t surprise me.

The recent gun tragedies have begun to work as a powerful emetic, bringing up the hideous green bile of hatred that has been sloshing about the gun control debate for decades.

I hope it is a good thing, and that the majority of sane people (and sane gun owners) will see the virulent hatred that drives the current anti-gun control agenda.

And the GOP has the choice of distancing itself from the hatred or planting its feet firmly in a fetid pool of vomit.
