When they decide God needs to be killed for taking out the majority of fertilized eggs before implantation, then I’ll buy the assertion that there’s a line of ‘reasoning’ at work.
I didn’t say they were using sound reasoning. But there is a consistency to their internal logic and it Williamson’s position is quite clearly the end result of that internal logic.
I’m a big believer in trying to understand someone’s reasoning, even if I don’t agree with them, because if you can understand how they think, you have a better shot at changing their mind. Dismissing someone as crazy or irrational just leads to banging your head against the wall.
