I joined LGF around 2007 and noticed that although they were politically conservative in a lot of ways, they did not suffer creationist fools gladly. I saw that as a positive sign.

And that with only a few exceptions, even the conservative voices were capable of conducting a discussion without it turning into an ad hominem shouting match.
