It doesn’t mean Trump gets removed; I expect the GOP to cover for Trump once again, even though there’s a metric-shit ton of evidence Trump did precisely the crimes alleged.

This shouldn’t be close, but McConnell gave the treasonweasel caucus cover to not vote to remove by pushing the date beyond 1/20. It’s an excuse but it doesn’t have any rational basis in the law or jurisprudence. And McConnell’s delaying tactics shouldn’t be used to cover for Trump’s crimes.

I hope Schumer has a long witness list. He needs to get a whole bunch of complicit motherfuckers on the record here.
