If I was not clear, I am sorry. I was speaking of the state’s right to investigate and prosecute crime. That right in not given to us citizens who are not charged/employed to do such.
What is worse - the controlled lawbreaking by the state or chaotic vigilantism by internet hooligans? Maybe “both are wrose”. But I would arguethat legitimization of torture by the Bush admin alone made a more negative impact on the world than all the Anon shenanigans up do date.
