The recent gun tragedies have begun to work as a powerful emetic, bringing up the hideous green bile of hatred that has been sloshing about the cun control debate for decades.

I hope it is a good thing, and that the majority of sane people (and sane gun owners) will see the virulent hatred that drives the current anti-gun control agenda.

And the GOP has the choice of distancing itself from the hatred or planting its feet firmly in a fetid pool of vomit.

It seems to be invested in the avoidance game. Think it was Tuesday that Rubio came out and said “Oh sorry, we’re gonna be so busy with immigration reform that we’re not going to have time to tackle gun control.”
