When I lived in Texas, I knew a lot of socially liberal Republicans that were libertarian. But, ultimately, always voted GOP

In Canada there are plenty of socially liberal but fiscally conservative people. We sometimes call ourselves Jews. / or the left wing of the Conservative party or the right wing of the liberal party. I find it hard to believe in TX that a socially liberal person could vote with the TX GOP as the social issues are so central to the discussion but in reality, people vote with their particular issues in mind.
