True. I guess I was thinking more of that he calls Serbia our WWI ally which is impossible given Serbia did not exist during WWI as an independent state and the Bosnians were more a part of Austro-Hungary hence why the Archduke was assassinated in Sarajevo.

Actually Serbia was a separate country in WW1.

Their support of Bosnian separatists and believed collusion in the assassination is what led to AH’s ultimatum and then declaration of war. Russia was backing Serbia, and Germany backing AH. France was allied with Russia. And Germany decided they needed to go through Belgium in order to defeat France quickly. And the UK was guaranteeing Belgium’s neutrality. O_o
