Honestly, I had this worry that if Clinton had won that we would be prime for a defeat in 2020 because of “fatigue” and the unlikelyhood of four consecutive two termers in the WH.

I’ve been thinking about that lately as well. If Hillary had won this time around, and even if we had taken back the Senate to go with the WH, I’ve no doubt we’d have taken a terrible beating in 2018 and Hillary would’ve lost her re-election bid in 2020 due to that fatigue you mentioned (and with more interference from the same parties who brought her down this time).

That said, I will never stop grieving for this lost opportunity to make history with a woman President.
