That may be part; but I think ipsos in 117 and HW in 118 have the real reason: up to 40% of the public believes anything that RW media tell them. They dismiss anything from legitimate news sources as Fake News — even Fox news stories when the stories don’t correspond to what they are hearing from RW web sites or Hannity or fanatic RW radio.
