Gerrymandering doesn’t affect POTUS. As #115 William Lewis points out, the Democrats did pretty well this time in Wisconsin.

Hillary lost Wisconsin because of voter suppression. Yes, Bernie voters directly lost the state for her, but without Republican voter suppression, the Bernie factor would not have mattered. This thread has been addressing every issue except that one. We also don’t really know what happened in Michigan — an Ann Arbor friend claimed there was something funny with many ballots.

In the mid-term, Stacey Abrams would have won if it weren’t for deliberate and malicious voter purges by Brian Kemp, the new governor. Throughout the South, felons who served their sentences have remained unable to regain voting rights, a policy instituted decades ago to limit African-American franchise. Of course, the Florida referendum passed in November will remove this obstacle in at least one state.
