Even here in San Diego county, $2.5M will buy you quite a bit of house. Sure, there are plenty of properties priced much higher, but even a coast house goes under $2M unless you want a huge property.

You can have a pretty big mortgage if you bought a large farm.

I don’t think that’s what they’re complaining about.
