I’m betting the Mitch will not even bring up for consideration any candidate for any expanded Supreme Court seat.

The only way to solve the judicial crisis is for the Democrats to take a majority position in the Senate.

And it is clear this is a very difficult thing.

So I lamented that the Dems were not able to flip the ME or IA seats. Those were so important for fixing what was wrong. But it didn’t happen.

Thus my pessimism.
