If there is something that is even more virulent in the fascists than racism, it’s their misogyny.

It’s the fact that women - black and Asian, to be sure, but really, it’s the women part - in charge that has them worked up. The first season of Discovery was a hot mess for lots of reasons, but they aren’t worried about that. No, they hate the idea of women being in command and/or the focus of the story. It was there, though not as loud due to the net not being as pervasive, over Voyager as well.
