Not quite that simple. U.S. power is 120 volts, 60 Hz. IIRC, British power is 240 volts, 50 Hz.

IMHO, the best way for this to be rectified would be for some flunky in the U.S. Embassy in London to go out and buy deluxe editions of the movies on the list, in British format, and exchange them for useless ones that Brown has.
