It seems to be invested in the avoidance game. Think it was Tuesday that Rubio came out and said “Oh sorry, we’re gonna be so busy with immigration reform that we’re not going to have time to tackle gun control.”

They have tried deflection (video games, mental health), disingenuity (criminals don’t obey laws, so why have them?), disinformation (misquoted or misrepresented studies on gun violence) and now distraction.
