Historically this is so (the author of Matthew was writing with a “pro-Jewish” agenda, contrary to, say, the author of Mark), but this is pretty easy to sidestep - “everything has been fulfilled by Jesus’ sacrifice”, etc.

Then you ask if that includes all the “prophecy” of Revelations as well… ;)
