The best BBQ (if that is the word) I ever had was one we had done in our front yard, with four whole lambs, grass fed, butchered and rolled right onto the spits with the fat in layers, and a dry rub that I would give my eye-teeth to know what was in it. The BBQr had never done lamb before, but it was absolutely spectacular, and the folks present ate it all, with every accompaniment we could muster, sitting on straw bales in the yard.
