If you wrote something like this as a spec script for a revived West Wing, you’d be laughed out of not only Hollywood but the entire state of California. And yet, real fucking life.

“Yeah Steve, let me finish. So Donald Trump becomes President. His Secretary of State, let’s say he’s an Exxon-Mobil guy calls him a fucking imbecile. And the Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense whose nickname is Mad Dog(still working this nickname out, I know it sounds silly) and the Secretary of Treasury all form a suicide pact.”
“Bill, you’ve come to my office with a lot of crazy ideas before like the one with the talk show host that says school shootings were false flags but this is pushing it. I can’t accept your script.”
