The only time NATO Article V was ever invoked was after 9/11 and it was the US who asked our allies to pitch in and help.

Which they did.

Now Trump thinks that this is a protection racket and the other allies are supposed to pay the US for that privilege.

That might be how he operates his real estate business, but that’s not how NATO works.

The way he treats our allies is disgusting.
