A lot of people are/were more qualified than Trump so that’s not quite good enough for me. I’ll vote for him if he’s the nominee but he really shouldn’t be running for POTUS. I get he’s polling well and even winning in a couple of em but I guess I think it’s a bit egotistical to go from mayor of a small city to the big show just like that and there’s still a lot he needs to learn.

Whenever I cannot get away from discussing Trump, I simply point out that he had never held public office, and since his private record is at best patchy, that makes him unqualified in terms of experience, not to mention character.

He has done absolutely nothing to change my opinion.

Pete at least has a transparent and generally admirable record of public service.

Not sufficient for the Presidency IMO, but more than Trump in any case.
