At this stage of the process,”Who is your favorite?” is two different questions: “Whose “presidency do you want to live under?” and “Who do you think can take down Trump?” The second question is the more important.

My big worry here is that every time the Dems have tried to “play it safe” and go with “electability”, they lost (Gore, Kerry) - by close-enough-to-steal margins, but a loss nonetheless.

I don’t blame black voters at all for having no faith whatsoever in certain segments of the white electorate…but it feels to me that, if every Dem is going to be slathered with the “socialist” brush, might as well go with the real reformer.
