Said much better than I could. There are a lot of people out there who do depend on government programs who vote Republican because they don’t like someone else benefiting. I saw an article about how the coal miners who voted Trump are already worried about losing their health care. In the past, I might feel bad but it’s really hard to do so anymore because we tried talking to these people and they had no desire to listen to us. I don’t want them to suffer but damn it, I don’t want us to pander to them either.

They made their own bed. I have no sympathy for them, they got what is coming to them.

It sounds harsh, but fuck ‘em. Give ‘em a taste of their own medicine.
